Earthquake of 7.7 degrees hit hard off the Northern Mariana Islands in the western Pacific Saturday without causing risk of getting high tsunami (tsunami), and the US Geological monitor said.
The center said the quake struck at 07.18 pm (21.18 GMT Friday) at a depth of 212 km and 30 km southwest Aggreyhan Island.
